House of Talent (HOT) is an emergent talent management company dedicated to discovering, nurturing and showcasing talent in the cultural and performing arts sector. We focus on continuous professional development and packaging our artistic talents; helping them to achieve personal objectives while tailoring their unique skills to meet the specific demands of the entertainment industry. We are specialists in Cultural & Traditional Performances, Educational & Advocacy entertainment, and Arts & Cultural management Consultancy. Other activities include participating in international art and cultural festivals, producing thematic stage plays and skits, making films, Storytelling, Theatre for Development, performing at Musical concerts, Training, Children’s Theatre, and managing international cultural and art-based programs.
House Of Talent East Africa is made up of professionally trained musicians, dancers, actors, actresses and dramatists from MDD Department,
We have discovered our potential and now believe that Performing Arts is a noble career that we, together with the Government and people of goodwill ought to continually promote because of the many opportunities it offers to the young people. It allows us develop our creative potential and use our skills effectively to the advantage of developing our nation,
Since its inception in January 2009, House Of Talent has successfully performed and worked with a number of agencies, organisations and individuals who bring their messages and concepts to us to artistically customise and tailor-make their messages for their target audience. - Becoming a Friend of House of Talent: Friends of House of Talent are individuals, foreign missions, agencies, organizations and corporate bodies who are seeking to support and promote the Ugandan performing arts, the youth and are passionate about House of Talent’s programs and its activities.
- Donations and grants (Seed funding or in-kind Contributions); are welcome to enable House of Talent fully establish itself with office equipment, Resource Centre and implement its programs.
- Hiring House Of Talent Cultural Ensemble: to perform at your social, corporate or private function for your guests’ relaxation, entertainment and enjoyment.
- Contracting HOT to disseminate your important messages about your community programs, services, products.
- Contracting us to design and maintain your website.
- Supporting the HOT Scholarship scheme; by contributing to the school fees and/or scholastic materials for one or all of our 10 talented secondary school going young performers.
- Infrastructural Capacity building: By contributing to our infrastructural capacity building program.
- Training and Continuous Professional Development: Given that we are artists who are desirous to professionalize the arts, Continuous Professional Development (CPD) is a must! We therefore request that you add us on your contact list for invitation whenever your organization has training opportunities.
All support given to House of Talent East Africa for any of the above areas or any other way you may be inspired, is very welcome for it will definitely boost House Of Talent’s capacity to deliver income- generating products and services that would facilitate our sustainability beyond grants and donations.
